Latest company news about Box Pouch Dog Food Packaging Line Loaded at Shanghai Port, Set for Manila – Operations Resume After Typhoon Dolphin

Date: August 20, 2026

Location: Port Warehouse, Shanghai, China

Under bright, sunny skies – a welcome change after the passing of Typhoon Dolphin – we are pleased to announce that one complete set of our fully automatic box‑pouch dog food packaging system has been successfully loaded into a container at the Shanghai port warehouse.

The entire system, comprising 11 heavy‑duty wooden crates, has been carefully stowed and properly lashed and braced inside the container to ensure maximum stability and safety during the upcoming ocean voyage. The vessel is scheduled to depart from Shanghai with an ETD of August 28, 2026, and is bound for the Port of Manila, Philippines.

Weather Delay – A Thank‑You to Our Customer
The original loading schedule was disrupted by the approach of Typhoon Dolphin, which forced a temporary halt to port operations. We sincerely appreciate our customer's patience, understanding, and continued trust throughout this unexpected delay. Today’s fine weather gave us the perfect window to resume work and complete the loading process without compromise.

Complete System Configuration
This high‑performance packaging line is purpose‑built for dry pet food and includes the following integrated components:

  • Box‑pouch (flat‑bottom / quad‑seal / quad bag) VFFS Packaging Machine – the core unit that forms, fills, and seals premium stand‑up bags with excellent shelf presence.
  • 14‑head Multihead Weigher – delivers high‑speed, accurate portioning for each pack size, reducing product giveaway and ensuring consistent fill weights.
  • Z‑Shaped Bucket Elevator – gently conveys kibbles from the hopper to the weigher, preserving product integrity.
  • Platform with Ladder & Rail – provides a safe and accessible working area for operators during production.
  • Finished Product Output Conveyor – smoothly transfers sealed bags downstream for further handling or packing.

Packaging Specifications
The system is configured to handle dog food in three popular retail sizes:

  • 400 g
  • 1.2 kg
  • 2 kg

All finished packages are produced in the box‑pouch style – a flat‑bottom, four‑side‑sealed bag that offers outstanding shelf stability, superior barrier protection, and consumer‑friendly opening and resealing features.

Safe Transit – Attention to Detail
Beyond standard export packaging, each of the 11 wooden crates was securely fastened with lashing belts and blocking supports inside the container, minimizing any risk of shifting or impact damage during the sea journey. This extra care reflects our commitment to delivering equipment in pristine condition, ready for immediate installation.

Looking Ahead
We look forward to providing our Philippine partner with installation supervision, commissioning support, and after‑sales training upon the system's arrival in Manila. This shipment further strengthens our presence in the Southeast Asian pet food market and demonstrates our reliability – even when faced with nature's challenges.
