This delivery reinforces P&Q’s dedication to providing tailored aftermarket tooling and responsive technical support for its installed base of vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) machines.
The six former sets are engineered specifically for retrofit on potato chip packaging equipment previously purchased from P&Q. Each assembly comes complete with an integrated nitrogen flushing tube and a robust former mounting bracket, enabling quick changeover and immediate start-up upon arrival.
Dual-Specification Configuration for Diverse Bag Sizes
To meet the client’s varying pouch requirements, the shipment is divided into two precision-matched groups:
- Three (3) former sets with a film width of 441 mm and a bag width of 213 mm – suited for standard medium-size chip bags.
- Three (3) former sets with a film width of 465 mm and a bag width of 225 mm – configured for larger family-size packages.
All units have been pre-aligned, firmly secured, and operationally verified at P&Q’s Hefei facility to minimize on-site calibration work. Each former undergoes strict dimensional inspection and surface quality checks to guarantee consistent forming performance at production speeds.
Heavy-Duty Export Crating for Ocean Freight
Recognizing the rigors of trans-Pacific shipping, all six sets are packed in sturdy export-grade wooden crates designed to protect against moisture, impact, and stacking pressure during the sea journey from Shanghai to the Port of Chicago. Each crate is clearly marked with handling warnings and order references to facilitate efficient customs clearance and inland transportation.
